If surfing is a religion, heaven awaits in the telo islands of northern sumatra in indonesia.

24 waves within a 45 minute speed boat ride of the land based “Resort Latitude Zero“, this newly opened resort expands on the successes of its predisessor Kandui Resort in the Mentawai, and is truely a surfing nirvana.  In addition to the waves (see images below), the resort features include: 270 degree ocean view rooms with a/c and high ceilings, swimming pool and lounge area for after surf beverages.. Are we there yet? RLZ also prides itself on top-level service in every area: accommodations, services, activities, amenities and food. Did I mention the waves are good too?

Since the donkeypatrol returned from Indo, most of us have barely seen a photo collection of barrel photos, strong turns and/or solid lip maneuvers (with the exception of Shea’s insane video – great work). Based on the below pictures, I’m prepared to award Brantley with the best photos of the trip title. If you think you got better photos, lets see them. We wanna see identifiable people getting barreled, huge sprays or solid lip maneuvers (all provided compliments of Brantley).

Yo Donkey’s I spent my Fri. night throwing together a small Indo video, it’s not much, didn’t have alot of surf footage to work with.. But it will at least bring us back for a moment and make you feel good… Enjoy…
